Florida’s Promulgated Endorsements
You’ve never heard of the endorsement the lender is demanding. A CLTA form what? We’ll help you crack the code to learn which endorsements you may issue, under what conditions they may be issued and for how much, and we’ll explain why every endorsement isn’t available here.
Presented by Dave Morgan, Esq., Underwriting Counsel
BEC and Wire Fraud Counterintelligence
Wire fraud through Business Account Compromise has become an epidemic in real estate transactions. This course discusses what Business Email Compromise is, how it is occurring as well as the financial impact of wire fraud in real estate transactions. It will also discuss suggestions on how to help protect your company, clients and customers from falling victim to wire fraud.
Presented by Krista Christensen, Esq., VP/Risk Manager, Cyber and Wire Strategies
The Take on Commercial Transactions
This topic will help you get your commercial transaction to the closing table. You will learn to properly establish authority for corporations, limited liability companies, and partnerships. Mortgage modifications, their pricing, and their effect on priority will be covered. We’ll discuss dealing with the ever-troublesome world of open notices of commencement and claims of lien. Other topics will include dealing with Federal Agency lenders, insuring airspace, leasehold policies, and more generally, how commercial transactions differ from residential transactions.
Presented by Patrick Quirk, Esq., Commercial Transactions Underwriter
Decryption of the Survey
It’s a covert operation, providing survey coverage in the title insurance policy. For this mission, you’ll need a key to break the cipher used by those savvy cryptologists, the underwriter and the surveyor. Using the proper algorithms, such as professional survey maps, sound underwriting analysis and reported title insurance claims, you’ll have enough intel to decrypt any survey that comes your way.
Presented by Christina Taylor, Esq., Speaker and Education Specialist
Preventative Measures: Averting Claims

There is trickery, negligence and honest mistakes out in the field, so we want you to be prepared to guard against attacks from all sides.
