Read Me First! Printed Materials vs. Electronic Materials
When you register (online or payment by check), you will have a choice of receiving a printed book at the seminar OR receiving the seminar materials electronically.
If you choose electronic materials, you’ll receive a link to the materials in advance of the seminar. You will either need to load this onto your tablet, laptop or smartphone OR print it out and bring it with you. You will not receive any printed materials at the seminar.
If you choose printed materials, you will receive a printed book at the seminar.
We encourage you to save a few trees, take advantage of technology and select electronic materials when you register!
Trust in Your Ability to Deal with Trusts
It’s a matter of trust. When do you trust that the trustee has the power to deed or mortgage and when do you need to dig deeper? Is there an easier way to deal with deceased trustees of revocable trusts in title to homestead? Which is better: a trust affidavit or a certification of trust? Fly with us and find out.

Probate: People Are Dying to Get There
Your vested owner is dead! Now what? This course will get you to the closing table with the correct grantor(s). You’ll learn what needs to be recorded whether you have an intestate or testate estate, and what the powers of the Personal Representative are, and when they have the authority to convey property. And what Probate seminar would be complete without diving into everyone’s favorite constitutional provision: Homestead! We’ll also discuss estate taxes, disclaimers, and judgments against the deceased. If you’ve been dying to learn more about probate, this is the course for you.

Ethical Conundrums to Common Title Insurance and Closing Issues
As we taxi down the runway for take-off, we’ll discuss Ethical Conundrums that could appear while insuring and closing real estate transactions. We’ll soar right into the ethical and legal duties of a title agent, and then stop for a short layover to learn about ethical issues in closing preparation. Once we approach our destination, we’ll go over post-closing considerations that may land in your seat. If you follow our guidance, you too can ensure a smooth landing with a trouble-free transaction.
